The Future

You are  reading from the genre of dystopian fiction, a type of novel that is set in a harsh, futuristic world.  Speaking of futures, what are your plans for the future?  Where would you like to see yourself in 10 to 15 years?  Now, imagine that the world as you know it vanishes.  Life is all about simply struggling to survive.  This is what happens to the characters you are about to meet.  What do you think would happen if war were to wage on our own soil?  What might happen if the government disintegrates?  Describe what your future may look like if this were the case.
In the future, I would like to be a level designer, maybe for Game Freak. I would like to move to Japan and work there making video games, maybe even work on the Pokémon games if I'm lucky enough. I think I would try to learn C++ as well as being a level designer, so maybe I can be director or something like that. I would also like to try my hand at character design for Game Freak too.
If the world became totally obliterated and controlled by a ruthless government, I think first I would try to escape, I would take my friends and my family and anyone else who wants to escape. If that didn't work, I think I would pretend to go along with everything the government does, but I would really be plotting and trying to help people escape. I would do everything I could to make the world return to something resembling its previous state.
